Connecticut Theatre Company’s “Spotlight On…” series continues with a look into the cast of Escape to Margaritaville. Get to know Ginamarie Garabedian who is in the Ensemble of our production!

Introduce yourself to our audience.
Hi, I’m Ginamarie! And as much as I love summer, you will always find me slathered in sunblock AND under an umbrella.
Why did you want to be involved in this production?
I grew up listening to Jimmy Buffett with my family and I’ve always loved his music. To have the opportunity to sing the songs I love so much on stage was a chance I couldn’t pass up!
Who in the show is most like their character?
Besides yourself, what celebrity would you like to see tackle your character?
What do you do when you’re not doing theatre?
Nap, eat pizza, take way too many pictures of my dogs, or play Bingo.
Without giving anything away, what’s your favorite line of dialogue?
“Ladies, a little less chit-chat, a little more phone in the tray-tray!”
What’s your favorite Jimmy Buffett song, and why?
What sort of person is going to love this show?
Anyone who loves to have a good time, drink a Margarita, and waste away for a few hours.
“Escape to Margaritaville” opens on September 12th and runs through September 21st at Connecticut Theatre Company. Tickets on sale now!
“This jukebox musical is the theatrical equivalent of sipping on a frozen drink while lying on a beach chair in the blazing sun.” — FRANK SCHECK of The Hollywood Reporter
““License to Chill” is the right introduction to Margaritaville and the folks who call this island resort home.” — MARILYN STASIO of Variety
