Introduce Yourself to Our Audience:

Hi hello! My name is Emma Gulick and I am playing Kate in our production of Zanna Don’t. I have been involved with CTC since 2022 and with theatre for most of my life. When I am not rehearsing I love exploring nature, dancing, adventuring, and spending time with loved ones.

What made you want to audition for Zanna Don’t?

Originally, I did not know much about the show but I love the production team involved and wanted to work with them! Once I looked into Zanna Don’t I realized how fun the show was and wanted to be a part of it.

How do you most identify with your character?

I think I most identify with Kate’s determination to try her best in all she does and the challenges she faces in trying to achieve that.

What’s your favorite song in the show and why?

This is a hard one! I really love “I Could Write Books” and “Sometime, Do You Think We Could Fall in Love”. I love hearing Brandon and Bella/Charlie sing them – it always makes me smile. My favorite song that I am a part of is “Do You Know What It’s Like?”.

Why should audiences come to see this show?

There are many reasons – here’s a few:
First, it’s always fun to see a show that is not well known – especially when it is a great story! Secondly, this cast is such a lovely group of humans and so talented. Third, why wouldn’t you come to see this show?! (There’s no reason, so come see us!)

Zanna Don’t opens September 8th and runs through Sept 24th at Connecticut Theatre Company. Tickets on sale now!

“It’s a sentimental story, but very humane and, maybe even more important, executed with talent, warmth and polish.” – New York Times
