Introduce Yourself to Our Audience:
What character do you play?
I play Miss Adelaide! I also choreographed the show with assistance from Ellie Maillet and Robert Melendez.
What makes you most excited about returning to the stage after the pandemic?
I am loving having somewhere to go again!
Who is your favorite character in Guys and Dolls? And why?
I like Sky Masterson and his vulnerability. Once he meets Miss Sarah he just opens his heart to her fearlessly.
What are you most excited for our audience to experience while watching our first production in over a year?
I am excited for the audience to experience community joy and laughter again! There’s something so special about enjoying something together.
Who inspired your love of theater? And why?
I think I was born loving to perform and my parents really encouraged me. They tell me that even as a preschooler I would spend my days twirling in front of the fireplace. My family came to every dance recital, competition, and theater performance -they are my #1 fans!
With music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, Guys and Dolls opens June 11th and runs through June 27th at Connecticut Theatre Company. Tickets on sale now!
