Spotlight On: Janet Aldrich

Connecticut Theatre Company’s “Spotlight On…” series continues with a look into our talented cast of Meet Me in St Louis. Get to know the proper Janet Aldrich who will be appearing in as Rose Smith.

What is your favorite holiday memory?

When I was 18, my dad had a heart attack the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We weren’t sure if he’d be released in time to celebrate at home. He was released from the hospital on Wednesday. This incident was a reminder for me to appreciate the time that you have with people that you love.

Who is your favorite character in the show?

My favorite character in the show is Tootie!  

Where is your hometown?

My hometown is Windsor, Connecticut. 

How many brothers/sisters do you have?

I have five sisters and one brother. I am number six in the line up.

What is your favorite song in the show?

My favorite song is “Touch of the Irish”!
