Thoroughly Modern Millie Promises to be a Thoroughly Good Time
APRIL 25, 2017 – Connecticut Theatre Company is excited to bring to life their second production of the 2017 season, Thoroughly Modern Millie, opening Friday, May 5th! Set in New York City in 1922, Thoroughly Modern Millie tells the story of young Millie Dillmount from Kansas who comes to New York in search of a new life for herself. Filled with frisky flappers, dashing leading men and a villainess audiences will love to hate, Thoroughly Modern Millie is a perfectly constructed evening of madcap merriment. From explosive tap numbers to a Fred and Ginger routine on a window ledge this is a toe tapping good time!
Thoroughly Modern Millie, is co-directed by Erin Campbell and Johanna Regan who promise that the show, “will keep you giggling throughout and leave you humming the songs long after you leave the theatre.” The production team also features Nathanial Baker as musical director and Chelsea Derby as Choreographer. The talented cast members include: Jackie DeMaio, Tullio Milani, Jacob Boergesson, Kathy Cook, Kristin Norris, Doug McCarthy, Zach Cote, Jenna Levitt, Amy Meek, Kristi Yurko, Melissa McCarthy, Sierra Manning, Emily Glaser, Kelsey Jean Campbell, Carolyn Sprowson, Candace Jelks, Patrick Beebe, Jodi Dickson, Erin Frechette, Remy McCoy, Heather Leigh Nogas, and Robert J. Williams.
Thoroughly Modern Millie runs for three weekends, May 5th-May 21st. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:00 and Sunday Matinees* at 2:00 (*please note, there is NO Sunday Matinee on May 7th).
