Connecticut Theatre Company Announces It’s 2014 Season
In October 2013, Bristol Theatre Arts and The Repertory Theatre of New Britain got together to begin work on the The Christmas Schooner, a wonderful production that led to the two groups realizing that they could team up and work more effectively as one theatre company. During this period of time, the board members of each group voted unanimously to combine resources, talent and effort through forming a new theatre group focused on bringing great theatre to the Central Connecticut area. These individuals worked together to form Connecticut Theatre Company, a group dedicated to providing broad ranging entertainment to the Central Connecticut area, including towns such as Bristol, New Britain, Plainville, Farmington, Berlin, Newington, Burlington, West Hartford, Southington and more.
At each show of the Christmas Schooner in December, the newly formed Connecticut Theatre Company was announced, along with a very exciting and full 2014 season. Our 2014 season of shows include: The Foreigner, Fiddler on the Roof, Rent, Chicago, The Wizard of Oz and, making it’s return to The Repertory Theatre Stage – The Christmas Schooner. The performances will all be at the historic beautiful Repertory Theatre in New Britain. It is going to be a wonderful year at Connecticut Theatre Company and we have great things in store for our patrons, actors, volunteers and community.
