Introduce Yourself to Our Audience:
What is your favorite song to sing in the show and why?
The song “Christmas Together” is at the heart of the show and it’s a feel good moment away from the dark side of the show. I really appreciate how it encompasses so many perspectives on one celebration everyone shares. There’s so many pieces and I enjoyed contributing to that.
What is the most rewarding part of being part of such a large ensemble cast?
The best part about this cast is having so many viewpoints to help on any issue that arises. It creates quick clarity and helps everyone get on the same page. So glad to be privileged to witness so much talent and it’s good to be back among those with passion for the art.
What is your favorite part of the creative process, whether it be during rehearsals or performances?
I love it when it all comes together in the end. We have a lot of fun in the beginning but when it’s time for performances you look the part and there’s a thrilling feeling to meet the audience where they’re at. There’s still so much to learn all the way up to the very end.
How does the energy of the audience impact your performance?
The energy or vibes from the audience can be very helpful in revealing the direction we should go. I like their encouragement and catharsis because we’re here to entertain. I definitely enjoy getting away from reality for a while with them.
What sort of person is going to love this show?
This show is definitely geared toward musical enthusiasts but anyone who enjoys a good tune and the hopeful message this show portrays will get something out of it. The warmth of it is captivating.

“Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent’s snappy book makes us laugh while the catchy songs (Ahrens also wrote the lyrics) leave us tapping our feet; together, the music and movement contains an irrepressible happiness.” – Arifa Akbar, The Guardian
“Although this is a Christmas show, it does have universal themes that may resonate with people of all faiths. The story reminds us of all the poor and lonely people who need help to survive. It brings up continuing battles for compassion and equality, that are as evident today as they were in 1844 London.” – Jennifer Goldman, Daily Democrat
