Connecticut Theatre Company’s “Spotlight On…” series continues with a look into our talented cast and crew of Calendar Girls. Get to know Lisa Bynes who is portraying Jessie!

 

 

 

Introduce Yourself to Our Audience:

Hi, I’m Lisa Bynes.

 

Why did you want to be involved in this production?

Tony was directing.

 

What sort of person is going to love this show?

I think middle aged women.. older women..

 

What do you love about your character?

She’s been through it.. she knows what life is all about.

 

Without giving anything away, what’s your favorite line of dialogue?

“Oh good God love, he wasn’t my husband”.

 

Who do you look up to (as an actor/director/etc.)?

Tony and Stephanie..is that a good answer or what?

 

What’s the last thing you do before you step out on stage / the curtain goes up?

Deep breath and pray.

 

What’s going to surprise people about this show?

Everything.. it is such a fun and touching show.. you’re going to love it.
