Spotlight On: Julia Leba
Connecticut Theatre Company’s “Spotlight On…” series continues with a look into our talented cast of Meet Me in St Louis. Get to know the graceful Julia Leba who will be appearing in as Eve/Ensemble.
What is your favorite holiday memory?
My favorite holiday memory is always going over my aunts house every Christmas Eve and because we don’t see her often we sit there talking and laughing around her fireplace for hours.
Who is your favorite character in the show?
My favorite character in the show is definitely Tootie. She’s the youngest character in the show yet the most daring and rebellious.
Where is your hometown?
I was born and raised in Bristol, CT and I still live there.
How many brothers/sisters do you have?
I have an older brother who’s 19.
What is your favorite song in the show?
I think my favorite song in the show has to be a tie between “Whenever I’m With You” or “Banjo”. “Whenever I’m With You” is just a cute and wholesome scene with the whole family and the song itself is just cute in general but with “Banjo” it’s just such a high energy dance number that everyone always has such a fun time with.
With music and lyrics by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane and book by Hugh Wheeler, Meet Me in St Louis opens December 6th and runs through December 22nd at Connecticut Theatre Company. Tickets on sale now!
