Introduce yourself to our audience.
My name is Ralene and I am playing the role of Shellhammer.
What makes the stage version of Miracle on 34th Street different from the classic film, and what does the live theater format bring to the story?
The theater format brings warmth and a personal touch to the story.
What’s your process for memorizing lines?
Good question!
What’s the most challenging role you’ve ever played and how did you prepare for it?
Mrs. Tottendale was challenging because I had to spit water on stage. It was way out of my comfort zone, but also lots of fun.
What is your favorite Christmas memory, and why?
The year I received a doll that I desperately wanted. I remember finding it under the tree and the magic of opening up the box.
What do you hope audiences, particularly those who already love the film, will take away from this live production?
I hope they feel the magic of believing and having faith in others.
