Spotlight On: Zenn Langley

Connecticut Theatre Company’s “Spotlight On…” series continues with a look into the cast of Escape to Margaritaville. Get to know Zenn Langley who is portraying Brick in our production!

Introduce yourself to our audience.

Hello! My name is Zenn Hunter Langley and I like to crochet, play video games, and am a cat dad to a wonderful orange boy named Mr. Noodles.

Why did you want to be involved in this production?

I wanted to be in this production because I thought it would be fun to get involved in theatre again!

Who in the show is most like their character?

I think that in the show, Max is most like their character as a goon because they are energetic and just over all a very silly person in general, so it fits!

Besides yourself, what celebrity would you like to see tackle your character?

A celebrity I would like to see tackle my character is Corbin Bleu because I have seen him do a cabaret style performance of “Mein Herr” and it was lovely.

What do you do when you’re not doing theatre?

When I’m not doing theatre, I find myself mainly working or crocheting something small and rewarding instead of finishing my current projects.

Without giving anything away, what’s your favorite line of dialogue?

My favorite line of dialogue is, “Ay lady, aren’t you here with your grandson?!”.

What’s your favorite Jimmy Buffett song, and why?

My favorite Jimmy Buffett song is “Fins” because it is an overall fun song to sing and dance to.

What sort of person is going to love this show?

Any Jimmy Buffett fan would love this show for sure, as well as someone who enjoys slapstick comedy and dad jokes.
