Spotlight On: Jeff Sirois

Connecticut Theatre Company’s “Spotlight On…” series continues with a look into our talented cast and crew of Guys and Dolls. Get to know Jeff Sirois!

Please introduce yourself and state your role in the show.

Jeff Sirois, Music Director

Who is your favorite guy from the Guys and Dolls movie, Nathan Detroit or Sky Masterson?  Why?

I’ve always loved Sinatra. I’ll go with Nathan!

Who is your favorite girl from the Guys and Dolls, Sarah Brown or Miss Adelaide? Why?

I love Sarah’s story! She teaches us that while it’s important to hold on to your convictions or stay true to your faith, it’s even more important that we work to understand, accept, care for, and love our neighbors – including those who hold a different set of values than our own.

What are you most excited about accomplishing in your role for this show?

This is my third show with CTC, and one of my all time favorites! I am most excited about performing this fantastic music with a talented cast!

If you could be a part of Nathan’s gang, a Hot Box Girl, a Save A Soul Mission member, or Havana Night Club attendee, what would you choose?

Hmmm…I’ve never been to Cuba. Let me in the nightclub!!

Tell the people something to get them excited for this show!

Guys and Dolls is a timeless classic. Frank Loesser’s score is one of the most memorable, and beautiful of all time, and this cast is FULL of musical talent! Don’t miss this very impressive production!

With music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, Guys and Dolls opens March 20th and runs through April 5th at Connecticut Theatre Company. Tickets on sale now!
