Spotlight On: Hannah Rubitz

Connecticut Theatre Company’s “Spotlight On…” series continues with a look into our talented cast and crew of Guys and Dolls. Get to know Hannah Rubitz!

Please introduce yourself and state your role in the show.

My name is Hannah Rubitz and I am the stage manager.

Who is your favorite guy from the Guys and Dolls movie, Nathan Detroit or Sky Masterson?  Why?

My favorite guy would probably have to be Sky Masterson because of the interesting shift in character during the show.

Who is your favorite girl from the Guys and Dolls, Sarah Brown or Miss Adelaide? Why?

My favorite doll would have to be Miss Adelaide.  She seems quite ditsy at first but you come to love her more as the show goes on.

What are you most excited about accomplishing in your role for this show?

I’m most excited about helping to bring this world to life on stage.

If you could be a part of Nathan’s gang, a Hot Box Girl, a Save A Soul Mission member, or Havana Night Club attendee, what would you choose?

Honestly, I think it would be super fun to be a Hot Box girl.

Tell the people something to get them excited for this show!

This amazing cast and production team will bring you to the streets of New York and beyond.  You’re in for a fun ride with Guys and Dolls.

With music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, Guys and Dolls opens March 20th and runs through April 5th at Connecticut Theatre Company. Tickets on sale now!
