Connecticut Theatre Company’s “Spotlight On…” series continues with a look into our talented cast and crew of Guys and Dolls. Get to know Brian Fagan!
Please introduce yourself and state your role in the show.
My name is Brian Fagan and I’m a regular here at CTC. I love community theater and like to play as many roles as possible. In “Guys and Dolls”, I play Angie the Ox who is one of many crap gamblers and also the Master of Ceremonies for the Hot Box Girls.
Who is your favorite guy from the Guys and Dolls movie, Nathan Detroit or Sky Masterson? Why?
Nathan Detroit, since he still has to make a living but never forgets his friends or the love he has for his girl.
Who is your favorite girl from the Guys and Dolls, Sarah Brown or Miss Adelaide? Why?
Adelaide, since devotion in the face of adversity is hard work but you cheer her on to succeed.
What are you most excited about accomplishing in your role for this show?
I love making and developing characters no matter how big or small they are in productions.
If you could be a part of Nathan’s gang, a Hot Box Girl, a Save A Soul Mission member, or Havana Night Club attendee, what would you choose?
Nathan’s gang, since the friendship they show each other is a bond that’s hard to get.
Tell the people something to get them excited for this show!
The voices and dancing in this show are amazing. Everyone’s accent is incredible and the talent of the cast really shines. You’ll love this play!
