Connecticut Theatre Company Takes Residence At Historic New Britain Repertory Theatre

It is our pleasure to announce that Connecticut Theatre Company, our new theatre company, has taken over the ownership and operation of the Repertory Theatre in New Britain. Connecticut Theatre Company was formed in December 2013 combining the members and resources of two well known community theatre groups, Bristol Theatre arts and the New Britain Repertory Theatre. Combining these groups has provided enough talent and resources to offer consistent and full programming to the Central Connecticut area.

Our group is very excited to take over such a historic landmark with the property dating back to the early 1900’s. We are aiming to use this beautiful theatre as a venue to provide great education, performances and opportunities to people who live and work in the Central Connecticut area. We have a very exciting season planned and can’t wait to get started.

Connecticut Theatre Company addresses a key need in the area for a stable, year round theatre group for the community. While a number of theatre’s produce 1-2 shows per year, we are proud to have this “home” and produce a full season of shows. The upcoming season will include hits such as Chicago, Fiddler on the Roof, Wizard of Oz and more!
